My notes here are for SL Chinese B (first assessment 2020). As our N2021 Exams were affected by COVID-19, our Listening Comprehension Paper was removed so I do not have any Notes for that.

In my Google Drive, I have included:

  • 作文格式

Tips for 口试:

- Practice reading aloud (emphasis on aloud, it is very differnt from reading in your mind)

- Listen to Chinese news or Podcasts to work on your pronouniciation

- Use 成语 (Chinese Idioms) and 俗语 (Chinese Proverbs)

Tips for 作文:

-Know the formats well so you do not waste your time trying to remember during the exam

- Plan before you start writing to avoid a disorganised essay and excessive cancellation

- Use 成语 (Chinese Idioms) and 俗语 (Chinese Proverbs)

- Practice writing 好词好句 you might use in your essay

Tips for 理解问答:

- Practice IB Style Reading Comprehension questions

- Read Chinese articles or books to expand your vocabulary

Do let me know if you have any questions and I'll try my best to answer it! Hope you find these notes useful and All the Best :)
